Partial Hospitalization Program
Structured, intensive clinical support during the day with the stability of returning home each evening.
Partial hospitalization is the most intensive level of outpatient care we provide. Clients attend structured clinical programming during the day, five days a week, then return home each evening to practice new skills in the environment where they live.
PHP is designed for adults whose symptoms need daily clinical attention but who do not require twenty four hour nursing supervision. It is frequently used as a step down from inpatient hospitalization or medically supervised withdrawal management, and just as often as a step up when weekly therapy is no longer holding.
Placement follows the American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria and a full biopsychosocial assessment. We look at symptom severity, withdrawal risk, medical and psychiatric stability, motivation, relapse potential, and the safety and support available in your home before recommending a level of care. If PHP is not the right fit, we will say so and help you find what is.
Every client works with an assigned primary clinician and a psychiatric provider who communicate directly with each other. Treatment plans are written collaboratively in the first week, reviewed regularly, and adjusted based on measurable progress rather than a fixed number of days.
